JMSN – Drinkin’

Time is such a strange concept – especially in exam periods. I completely forgot to make a post yesterday, damn… But this doesn’t mean that I won’t make one today – and what a song it is!

JMSN has been one of my favorite artists ever since I heard his first album Priscilla back in 2012. I went to his concert in oktober and his live voice was amazing – one of the best artists I have ever heard live!

Today, he blesses us with a new song called Drinkin’ – and it captures everything about what makes him great! And it’s like he’s describing my every weekend pretty good.

Just give it a listen, I’ll bet you will like it.

Anna Wise – Self On Fire

I really want to share this song with all of you, as I think Anna Wise need some more recognition!

She made an awesome album called THE FEMININE: ACT II, where she mixes a lot of different sounds – Jazz, R&B, Pop, as well as other cool sounds to make a different kind of album, an album that’s hard to place within a particular genre.

It’s experimental and that’s what I love about it!

Gorillaz – Hallelujah Money (Feat. Benjamin Clementine)

Oh god! Gorillaz has just released their new single (with a video). ¬†Honestly, Gorillaz’ upcoming album is one of my most anticipated albums this year. EDIT: This wasn’t a single and it’s probably not gonna end up on the upcoming album.

I wasn’t really a big fan of Gorillaz before 2010, but that changed when I saw them at Roskilde Festival. I immediately started listening to their new (at the time) album, Plastic Beach and I still regularly listen to the album. It’s one of my favorite feel-good projects that I can always return to whenever I feel like it.

I hope the new album can live up to my expectations. I really like the sound of this new single – let’s hope the rest of the album sound as good as this!

XXXTentacion – Look At Me!

“Look at me! Fuck on me!”

Today’s post will be a song from an upcoming artist from Florida. XXXTENTACION is being pretty hyped right now in the hiphop community and with good reason. The energy on the song Look At Me is crazy and I love how he uses the distorted bass to make it even more raw and hard-hitting.

Give this a listen at your own risk – but do yourself a service and listen to it with good speakers or headphones if you’re gonna do it.

Spooky Black – Pull

It’s snowing right now. Spooky Black (Now known as Corbin) has made the perfect song for a long and cold winter. The singing, the feelings, the vibe – all this makes it one of my favorite winter songs.

And the crazy thing is that he was only 15 years old when he made it back in 2014! Stream it below and make sure to check out the whole EP, Leaving.
